The University of Michigan Detroit Center will hold its third annual induction ceremony for the University of Michigan Detroiter Hall of Fame on Friday, May 8, 2015 from 7 – 9 p.m. 

This year’s inductees include Carmen Harlan, WDIV TV Newscaster and Journalist; Pamela Rodgers, Owner, Rodgers Chevrolet; and Saul Green, Senior Counsel and Public Servant.

The University of Michigan Detroiter Hall of Fame honors the distinguished career achievements of Detroit natives who have graduated from the University of Michigan and made recognized national or global contributions to their disciplines.

This invitation-only event begins at 7 p.m. and is moderator by Rod Beard, a University of Michigan alumnus and Detroit News sports journalist. Rod will lead the evening discussion with honorees Carmen Harlan and Saul Green.

A daytime program, Detroiters Speak Hall of Fame Edition, will take place from 12 - 1:45 p.m., is open to the public and includes complimentary admission, parking and refreshments.
